On 15 December 2021, Associate Professor Dr. Manit Jumpa, Distinguished Member of the University Council, STOU Acting President, attended the meeting between University Presidents and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, to discuss and exchange ideas, as well as urge higher education institutions to jointly drive a recovery of Thai economy after the Covid-19 situation.
Adjunct Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, MHESI Minister, chaired the meeting and delivered a special speech. The meeting was also joined by Prof. Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, MHESI Permanent Secretary; Assistant Professor Duangrit Benjatikul Chairungruang, MHESI Secretary; Dr. Patcharinruja Juntaronanont, Advisor to the MHESI Minister; and Dr. Danuch Tanterdtid, MHESI Assistant Minister.
